Ramblewood Inn, Peterborough
The Ramblewood Inn, conveniently located next to the Courtyard Leisure Club of the Best Western Plus Orton Hall Hotel & Spa is as steeped in history as the hotel itself.
Originally built as the stables to the hall, a sympathetic restoration has seen this charming building converted into a traditional English pub – complete with its very own red telephone box. Its roots haven’t been forgotten though, and visitors may spot that some of the original stalls and troughs remain in place.
The Ramblewood Inn is popular with both residents and locals alike. As well as award winning guest ales, traditional beers and a wide variety of wines, the restaurant serves a huge variety of traditional English favourites, with seasonal menus designed to suit every taste, including a carvery available on Sundays in the conservatory.
As well as the restaurant, the Hayloft provides a private dining area for groups of up to 40 people, and offers an ideal location for family gatherings, business events or intimate wedding receptions
