Over the past few months, we have had to make several changes to the Hotel and Restaurant for us to open and to comply with all the current UK government guidelines. We are always putting the safety of our guests and teams first and will take all the appropriate measure to reduce the risk from Covid-19.
These recent changes include:
- Enhanced sanitation around the Hotel and Restaurants
- Ensuring that frequent cleaning is carried out on a regular basis in all areas to the highest standard
- Adequate and effective PPE is made available to staff
- Social distancing by reducing contact between staff and guests as much as it is practical
- Protective barrier for close contact areas
- Deep cleaning bedrooms after each departure
- Linen is washed above 60 degrees
- Spacing tables in the Restaurant
- Temperature check for out staff member on arrival
- Training for the staff for Hygiene
Reception/arrival to the hotel
You will notice some changes in our reception areas. A protective screen has been placed around our Reception desks. All guests when they check in will receive a welcome pack with all the information you will require. Signage has been placed throughout the hotel to aid with social distancing. Hand sanitising stations have been placed throughout the hotel. All guests are required to wear face masks when in public areas of the hotel
All bedrooms have been deep cleaned for your arrival. All non-essential items have been removed to prevent any contamination risk including toiletries. If you are staying with us for more than one night we will not be servicing your bedroom on a daily basis. If you require any items to be replenished please advise our Reception team.
Food & Drink
Our tables have been moved to ensure that the appropriate social distancing is in place. Tables will not be set before you arrive. Our team will bring you cutlery and glasses when you order. Due to the reduced capacity you will need to make advanced table reservations for all meals with reception. We can only accept table bookings for up to 6 people. Table service will be provided for all tables inside and outside for all food and drinks.
As per government guidelines we do require you scan the NHS track and trace QR code or supply us withyour name and telephone number. This information is kept for 21 days.
We are currently offering a grab and go breakfast option. This needs to be pre ordered the night before.
Due to current restrictions we are unable to offer any meal options for dinner. Our team can help you with regards to takeaway/delivery options.

Weddings and Events
We are currently waiting for the Government to update their guidance with regards to these events. If you are interested in holding an event or wedding at the hotel our brochures can be found on our website. We can also organise a socially distanced meeting and show round with you to discuss your requirements.
